Dear 3A parents and students,

We started lesson 7 today. Class ended at 1:50pm due to EP contest.

 Announcement: 

There will be a “level test” schoolwide in April.

The test includes lesson 1~ lesson 7 (No lesson 8~10).

Students will take home the “3^rd grade level test study guide“, and school will also provide opportunities for students to practice level test online so they can be well equipped. Once students are thorough with all the words, phrases, and sentences in the study guide, they are good to go.

Level test includes listening, reading, writing, speaking, and typing. It’s similar to our final exam format.

Students have 2 chances to do the makeup test, one before summer break, and one during summer break if they didn’t past the the first time. 

The purpose of the level test is to make sure students understand the content that they have learnt, have confidence, and be capable of dealing with the new lesson in 4^th grade next school year.

Students who couldn’t pass the test 3 times are encourage to stay in 3^rd grade next year so they can establish solid foundation for further learning.

Please feel free to ask me if you have any question about the level test.

Dear 3A parents and students,

First of all, thank you so much for reminding your child to bring pencils, erase, notebook, scissors, and clue stick to class today. 

 Announcement: 

Time flies by so fast, I can’t believe half of our school time is almost done!   

I would like to invite all the 3A parents, grandparents to the classroom next Saturday. Our students have a little presentation for you before winter break.

The presentation will start at 2:30pm.

You are welcome to come into the classroom at 2:00pm and stay till dismissal.

(Please only come in after 2:00pm, we need time to practice at the first session. ^_^)

If the siblings can cooperate and not making too much noise during the class, they are welcome to join us, too. There might not be enough seats for everybody, please feel free to sit on the floor and make yourself comfortable.

 Class notes: 

 We started lesson 5, 家在哪裡, today.

    Students learned all the new vocabularies and some grammar.

    We will enhance grammar next week.

 Homework: 

 1. Writing: Please see email 2 attached files.

         (Remember to write pinyin, character and the meaning for each word.

          Finish writing assignment before doing workbook homework.)

 2. Workbook: page 25, 29.

 3. Speaking: say the sentence and flash card words below  

         when you call 李老師 on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
